Trade Fairs

International trade fairs take place regularly in Pyongyang, in spring and autumn.

The EBA has been represented regularly since the autumn 2007 fair with a consolidated stand and offers European companies the opportunity to participate in this combined stand.

You may want to send a representative of your company to participate in the stand, or, as a first stage in making contact with North Korea, start by participating with a poster.

If you decide to take part with a poster we can design and print a high quality poster here in Pyongyang according to your instructions for exhibition at the stand.  We will advertise your business at the fair, collect contacts and send them directly to you after the fair.

All the formalities associated with the fair such as visa requirements and the appropriate means of advertising your company such as advertising material, poster design and printing, will be handled for you by the EBA in cooperation with the local trade fair orgainisers.

Since the autumn 2008 fair, we have also offered European representative organisations the chance to exhibit in our stand as a ‘guest country’ and to present companies from their country.

The trade fairs have proved to be a very practical introduction to the completely unknown North Korean market.  Everyone who takes part in the combined stand can make use of the opportunity for intensive exchange with EBA members and expand the fair into an efficient and effective communications platform.  There could be no quicker and cheaper way of doing this, and the increasing popularity of the combined EBA stand confirms our approach.
